Mission
Texas Association of School-Based Health Centers advocates and supports state policies, programs and funding that sustain, grow and integrate school-based health care into our state’s health care and education systems. We provide leadership, resources and technical assistance to enable school-based health centers to deliver quality services in schools and school-linked programs.
Core Values
- To promote quality health care to Texas children and youth as a component of school systems
- To build a state membership organization that advocates school-based health centers
- To identify strategies to secure permanent funding for school-based health centers
- To serve as a resource organization for interdisciplinary professionals working in school-based and school-linked health care
- To build relationships with organizations at the local, state, and national levels which impact school-based health centers
- To support collaborative partnerships between public and private entities
